Iracoubo
Iracoubo The Church, established in the early nineteenth century, the town of Iracoubo was marked by the arrival Father Prosper Raffray.

This peaceful village in western department was created in 1828 by Mother Anne-Marie Javouhey, founder of the Confederation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny. A village populated Hmong , a few miles on the road to St-Laurent-du-Maroni, bears his name now. .
It is from that part of Mana the coastal road that leads to
range Hattes , famous for laying its leatherback turtles . The main activity is rice farming Mana: 6500 hectares of rice fields are divided into four operating companies.
