For those who have not yet seen, December 13 2010, the Secretariat welcomed the adoption international adoption international partners at the launch of the Action Guide in international adoption. This guide is the result of improved knowledge and the evolution of legal frameworks, regulations and laws. It was achieved through a genuine interdisciplinary cooperation. It outlines the principles, challenges and the particular context of international adoption and is essentially the harmonization of practices by providing clear guidelines regarding treatment of cases while taking into account relations with many countries and actors.
The guide is now available via the website of the Ministry of Health and Human Services and the virtual toolkit of the IAS.
